ABOUT ME

I'll never forget the moment my dad brought home our first dirt bike. My mom gathered my brothers and me into our living room, and then my dad drove a little Honda 50 right through the house into the room. I can still remember the shock and excitement I felt. My dad not only introduced me to power sports but also to the legend who revolutionized them: Travis Pastrana. He gathered the family around the TV and put on the first-ever Nitro Circus film. Saying I felt inspired after watching that film is an understatement! I wanted to be a stunt rider so badly after watching that film that I went to the back part of our farm and built a small ramp. It was barely a jump, more of a built up mound of dirt, but you better believe I got some air time.

I quickly realized that fulfilling my dream of becoming a stunt rider required a lot of money and travel time, two things my family didn't have. When I bought my first camera, hoping to pursue photography and videography as a career, I was naturally drawn to shooting anything with a motor. Subconsciously, it was likely that young kid, filled with awe and wonder for action sports, was guiding me.

Years later, I'm still chasing my dream at the highest level, shooting to become the most recognized action sports photographer in the world. I've even converted a 16-foot cargo trailer into a full-time home so I can travel and immerse myself in the culture of action sports.

Every time I pick up a camera to photograph an athlete, I still feel that same sense of awe and wonder, filling my heart with excitement and joy beyond any other experience. Photography, for me, is a way to taste those adrenaline-filled moments. It's even more rewarding because I have the privilege of capturing those action-packed scenes for others to enjoy for a lifetime.

My journey has been one of persistence and passion. From that first little Honda 50 to the life I've built around my camera, I've learned that dreams evolve but the core of what drives us remains. My story is about embracing every moment, every shot, and every adventure that comes my way, always striving to capture the thrill and beauty of action sports. And as I continue this journey, I'm reminded that the dreams we chase are worth every leap and every jump, no matter how big or small.

Today, my mission extends beyond my own photography. I am dedicated to serving the photography community by helping others level up their skills by sharing everything I know. Through online teaching on platforms like YouTube and Instagram, I share behind-the-scenes media, revealing my entire process, providing aspiring photographers with the tools they need to increase their skills in less time. This style of education allows me to give to this incredible community, ensuring that others can experience the same joy and excitement that comes from capturing action through a lens.
